Strawberry Pavé is a glistening, bulbous, sticky and dense beauty of a bud with purple, green coloring and generous dusting. It bursts out of its packaging with aromas of strawberry, candy pink and tropical fruits, cream and a touch of sourness. Once ground, fumes of a strawberry liqueur emerge. A dry pull confirms flavors of strawberry and pineapple. The combusted bud begins with strong sweet and delicious concentrated strawberry flavors which become more herbal and less fruity as the joint burns down—finishing with a touch of bitterness and just a faint reminder of that initial burst of strawberry.
The high is a knockout. Strawberry Pavé is super strong and left this consumer passed out snoring audibly (with Mrs. Mendel catching recording it for posterity). Before passing out I wrote the following: “muscles relaxed, pain relief, good body slowdown.” I should note that I smoked the entire bud which was probably a bit over a gram’s worth. I was still considerably slow the next morning.
Strawberry Pavé is appropriate for anyone who has trouble falling asleep or relaxing. This bud will do the job and more. The bud is not a good starting place for novice consumers who will be overpowered by the bud—though if their ultimate goal is getting immediately knocked out, then a couple puffs should do it.
