Sunset Purr is the second bud that I am reviewing from Deedee Farm. The bud is expertly grown, beautiful super dark greens with green orange hairs, plump and super sticky. The aroma is classic lemony citrus with good menthol pine. As previously mentioned, the bud is super sticky, and that sticky residue leaves another level of essence with more of a tropical, banana and hint of vanilla. I tried to find that in the bud but kept coming back to a classic pine-sol aroma (strong and gassy but less chemical than others). The flavor is quite enjoyable, starting off reflecting more of the sticky residue with a Juicy Fruit gum flavor of light tropical fruit but then develops in an herbal and then pine direction, all the while super smooth.
The high starts off with a bit of a heady buzz with a reduction of stress through the body. I consumed the bud of an eventful night (with all events transpiring after I already smoked my J) and I found that the bud assisted me by eliminating stress while keeping my head engaged, allowing me to act and make thoughtful decisions. An excellent functional high.
I recommend Sunset Purr to all consumers. The bud is functional and for experienced consumers (at least this experienced consumer) the reduced stress plus engagement allows for clear thinking and good judgement. Novice consumers, do not take this as a recommendation that Sunset Purr will promote good judgement on your part—this is all subjective.
