I have no interest—other than perhaps an emotional and fraternal interest—in the strains which I review. I generally review what is sent to me, what I pick up along the way, and what I specifically seek out to try. I do have my favorites and I do pay attention to certain individuals and shops when the make recommendations. When Younggu told me I had to try Triple Scoop—I had to listen—and I was right to listen.
Triple scoop is a greyish green (I’m color blind) bud covered in shiny crystals. The bud is dense and sticky with a pungent, sweet and sour odor, almost like a lemon cleaning solution. The taste is delicious, like a mixture between lemon cake and a Guinness. One of the more delicious buds I’ve encountered and some of the smoothest and richest smoke.
Triple Scoop’s high is like an old comfortable hoody on a brisk evening. It is comforting, enveloping and just so relaxing. The effects are alert enough to appreciate and enjoy your surroundings, but at the same time so relaxing and chill that the user can blend into the background or blend into the social situation at hand. I love getting massages at Asia Herb Society. They have masseuses who are as wide as they are tall, with the ability to somehow hold my entire body in their arm span. This is how Triple Scoop feels.
I highly recommend Triple Scoop to experienced users. The taste is amazing and the high is so comfortable and layered making it one of the most relaxing strains I’ve come across. Novice users should also try Triple Scoop with the knowledge that not all strains are equal—this one is superior.
