Tropicana Banana has such an audacious name, I almost expected to be hit it the face by Chiquita Banana herself. But instead the fragrance is a mild mix of a milky sweet candy with a bit of cotton candy. There is not much of a banana or herb smell to it. The bud itself is slightly sticky and very dense, and the milky sweet fragrance remained on my fingers after breaking it apart. The fragrance gets stronger when the bud is ground . . . but still not overpowering.
Tropicana Banana has a cotton candy and minty taste—somewhat similar to a lifesaver candy—but not too strong. The taste is mild, never strong and never really delicious, but not bad at all.
The first effects of the bud are a full, but mild, head high. A moderate amount of pleasant pressure encompasses and envelops the entire head. The very sativa head high sets in slowly and gently and continuously builds up. At first this strain does not seem strong, but the user becomes very alert and focused, studious and profoundly chatty.
There is an initial cheeriness which develops into a deep euphoric, happy, giggly and silly mood. Great hunger. A body high sets in as well—but it is a mild body high with the ultimate balance leaning on the head. This is very much a sativa high.
This strain is perfect for a daytime visit to a museum, or cinema, or park. It is an excellent strain for engagement and socialization and social activities. Recommended.
