This particular Wedding Gelato bud is one of the most aesthetically pleasing buds I have put my hands on. The bud is enormous, plump and dusted, army fatigue green, crystaled and dusted, with little orange brown hairs everywhere. The smell is a bit disappointing, a mild sweet smell with a hint of staleness. The taste when vaped is heavy on menthol with sweet finish which quickly becomes bitter. When smoked, the bitterness of the taste comes out strongly.
The effects are uplifting, chill and pleasant, attentive, focused, and relaxed. While listed as an indica leaning hybrid, I find the effects to be very balanced without any indica stereotypical lethargy or sleepiness. On the contrary, this Wedding Gelato bud provides enough energy and focus to remain happily engaged with tasks, television, reading, socializing, and users may delay sleep because of such engagement. The indica effects are most noticeable in the pleasant, deep, but not debilitating relaxed state the body will slip into.
Wedding Gelato is a fine balanced hybrid which will leave the user happy, engaged and relaxed. It is a strain which will get the user (at least this user) high, but not stoned. Wedding Gelato is recommended to both the experienced user as well as the novice user. Indeed, this strain may be an ideal choice for inexperienced users who are looking to get a balanced and controllable happy high with no adverse effects.
