Grower: Golden Temple

Rating: 4.6

Wet Stones is beautiful. These buds are long and sparse, completely frosted with a stickiness which is evident from a mile away. The bud looks like it has been dipped in honey and feels the same way. The bud is super pungent and skunky—with a sour mango candy aroma (and a touch of pepper) which becomes more and more apparent once the nose adjusts to the pungency. Mrs. Mendel, in her 7th month of pregnancy, was not as delighted with the aromas which had enveloped our little home and proclaimed “I don’t need a skunk in my bedroom or in my apartment, roll your joint somewhere else.” I did alone and outdoors. The flavors are delicious, like eating sweet dry mango with bits of mint and bitter herbs.

Wet Stones melts time away. The senses are completely stimulated but the body is hard to move. Music, food, the touch on one’s skin are all tantalizing. But motivation, direction and action are completely absent instead replaced with a body locked in place and a mind searching for meaningful and slow engagement.

I highly recommend Wet Stones with all my heart. Everything about this bud is classic—but in a way that I have never experienced before. Its like all the elements are familiar to me but have never been put together in the way which I was lucky enough to consume and experience. Experienced consumers this bud’s for you. Novice consumers, forget about it.
