There are days I need a reset. Sometimes a THC rest and I turn to CBD for a bit of cleansing. Other times I need a flavor reset, something to counter overly sweet and fruity flavorsโwhich I do love and appreciate, but at least once a week I need some really weedy weed. I found it with Fire Farmsโ White Truffle, a pungent, skunky bud with strong pine and menthol odors. White Truffle has an appropriately old school and adult taste: pine and menthol, strong earthy toasted barley with a slight and pleasant bitterness. The smoke is rich with an aftertaste at the top of the tongue similar to the smoothest of beers.ย
White Truffle has Hollywood looks with a dusted dark purple base and light green and orange hairs. The bud has some springiness to it and is as sticky as anything Iโve ever put my hands on. The high is strong, tingly, with a dreamy head which stabilizes without becoming sleepy.ย I smoked my first joint, watched the election results, and happily wrote up my notes. The flavor was so enticing that I went back for a second small joint. The second joint took me from a stabilized dreaminess to pleasantly and happily stoned.ย
White Truffle may be the first of Fire Farms bud which I recommend to both experienced and novice users. The flavors and aromas are awesome, old school but still so unique. The high is fun and tingly, dreamy but not debilitating. Novice users should try this bud sparinglyโexperienced users will have a hard time holding back from that second joint which will take them to the next level.ย
