The smell and taste of Wild Runtz really got me. The aroma is pungent, super sour, sweet, earthy, herby in a Chinese medicinal way, with an almost fermented fizziness to it. The flavor matches the taste exactly—and it is so familiar. It took me a while to identify the taste, but then it hit me: sweet black licorice. From the start to the end of the joint—Wild Runtz burns a true and delicious licorice.
The high is intense, powerful, and overwhelming at times. After I smoked a healthy joint of Wild Runtz I sat down to do a bit Instagramming. This was a struggle. There is a short journey between smoking the bud and arriving in a super stoned, completely useless and relaxed state. That journey, while short, is nonetheless wild, dipping into a few dark corners, jerking the psyche around a bit before landing in that strong, stoned, sleepy state.
Wild Runtz is only appropriate for experienced users. That journey through those dark places in the mind is part of a profound cannabis experience which could send novice users into a panic. Experienced users will know to sit back—enjoy the ride and wait for the next turn. I highly recommend Wild Runtz for experienced users—the journey is wild and ends blissfully.
