Grower: White Labs Cann*bis
Rating: 4.4
Z-Pie, the first bud I’ve tried from White Labs, is super beautiful. Green, frosted, with orange green hairs and nice springiness—this bud is properly and cleanly grown. The aroma is instantly out of this world, pungent with gassy chemical sour candy berry and grape fortified wine fumes. Once ground the bud reveals added kerosene and musky aromas and a lemon squash dry pull. The flavor, while not as intense and developed as the aroma, is quite good with a chlorine gas and mildly sweet grape soda taste and clean mint end.
The high begins heady, hungry, content and laid back with a contemplative outlook. The bud slowly gets into the body relaxing the muscles but the head is never put out of commission—and the body is never lulled to sleep. It’s a nice chill high—good for the late afternoon—which will leave the consumer social enough while at the same time unloading some unnecessary baggage.
I highly recommend Z-Pie to consumers chasing gassy aromas and flavors and a chill but somewhat alert high. Experienced consumers will recognize the strength of the aroma and the utility of the high. Novice consumers may be scared off by the pungent gassy reach of this bud—but those who are not easily scared will reap the reward of cannabis knowledge.
